Injection Fall off Test
Injection fall-off tests are used to determine the amount of skin present around the wellbore and the permeability of the formation for an injector well.

The amount of skin and the permeability of the reservoir in the area around the wellbore can be determined from an injection fall-off test. This test is accomplished by monitoring the change in wellhead pressure or bottom-hole pressure after injection is stopped. It is also useful for determining frac pressure for an injector well. The test consists of monitoring the pressure response after injection stops.

With the high resolution of the DATAPORT™ and DATATRAP™ or PR600™ noticing when the frac occurs is much easier since you don't have to worry whether or not you've reached frac pressure or if it's interference.
